Athletes we work with remind us that the journey is as important as the destination.
Lachie Stuart is a true inspiration in the running world, known for his relentless determination and commitment to pushing the limits of endurance. With a passion for long-distance running and a drive to tackle the toughest challenges.
Lachie is embarking on an extraordinary journey: running 58 marathons in 58 days across 58 states in both the US and Australia.
His unwavering spirit and dedication to health, fitness, and personal growth make him the perfect ambassador for Yeah Buddy, as he exemplifies the mindset of perseverance, strength, and resilience that we champion in our community. Follow Lachie’s journey as he inspires us all to unlock the athlete within!
Spencer Thomas is more than a runner — he’s a storyteller in motion. Known for blending creativity with courage, Spencer uses running as a vehicle for healing, reflection, and impact. His journey is grounded in purpose, inspired by personal loss, and driven by a desire to give back.
This year, Spencer is taking on a powerful mission: running 100km from Melbourne to Portsea to raise funds for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation — in honour of his mum, who bravely battled breast cancer.
With every step, Spencer carries her memory, her strength, and the waves of Portsea she loved. His work on and off the road makes him the perfect ambassador for Yeah Buddy — combining grit, heart, and creativity in everything he does.
Brooke isn’t just a runner, she’s a mum, a child protection worker, and a fierce advocate for children’s safety. For years, she’s worked on the frontlines, supporting survivors of child sexual abuse and walking beside them on their path to healing. Her passion for holistic early intervention runs deep empowering children to speak up, be heard, and be protected before harm can occur.
Now, she’s taking that mission even further.
Brooke is stepping up to Australia’s mightiest ultra-marathon challenge, the Bravehearts 777 Marathon. That’s 7 marathons, in 7 states, across 7 consecutive days, all to raise critical funds for the prevention of child sexual abuse.
She runs with heart.
She runs with purpose.
She runs so every child has a voice.
We’re proud to stand beside her.
